The Israel Museum’s current exhibit in Jerusalem on King Herod the Great, “The King’s Final Journey,” has everything.
Walking through its well-curated rooms, one encounters a wealth of stunning artifacts, from fragments of delicate floral murals to a reconstructed Throne
Room and Herod’s marble bathtub, both from his Jericho palaces, to an astonishingly beautiful mosaic panel from lower Herodium.
