It is the aim of this collection to make available to the diplomat, scholar and interested layman the texts of all resolutions of the United Nations and related international organizations on Palestine and the Arab-Israeli conflict passed between 1947 and 1972. An earlier volume, United Nations Resolutions on Palestine, 1947-1966, edited by Sami Hadawi, was published by the Institute for Palestine Studies in 1967. The present book not only extends the time coverage to 1972, but also contains some resolutions from the 1947-1966 period not included in the earlier volume. The texts of the resolutions have been taken from official records of the United Nations.
