Secure and Recognized Boundaries

Abstract:

This work discusses Israel’s conception of secure borders and its relationship to the theory of Israeli national security. It demonstrates that what is meant by such borders is the security of Israel alone by means of expansion and expropriation of territory. In a carefully documented manner, the study also refutes the claims that Israel uses to justify its conception of secure borders, namely its self-depiction as a victim under constant threat from its Arab neighbors.
