Bedouin Communities in the Middle of the West Bank As a Case Study

This study examines Bedouin concentrations in the West Bank, the majority of which stand as a hurdle facing the expansion of Zionist colonial projects. Bedouin concentrations spread in areas vital to Zionist colonialism, notably in areas characterized by low concentration of Palestinians. As such, the endurance of these Bedouin concentrations, in these areas, impedes the process of full Judaization and colonialization. Consequently, the removal of these concentrations became a priority for the Zionist entity, which uses projects of forced displacement (or “plans for resettlement, as per Israeli notion) as a “civilized mechanism” aimed at “land sterilization” from Bedouin concentrations.
