Abstract: 

The study deals with the diet of the Palestinian refugees as it was on the eve of the June war of 1967. It concludes that the diet of the refugees is nutritionally very poor.

Prof. Usama KHALIDI was scientific advisor to HRH Prince El Hassan bin Talal. He was born in Jerusalem in 1932 and received a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan. He has published extensively on biochemistry.
