The 29th Zionist Congress (1978)

The 29th Zionist Congress was held in Jerusalem from February 22, 1978 to March 31, 1978. This volume comprises translations (from English) of reports presented by Zionist organizations at the congress on their activities since the 28th Congress held in September/October 1971. The 29th Congress was the first to follow the October War of 1973 and the shift in Israel to the right under the leadership of Menahem Begin in 1977. The reports reproduced in this volume include those of the Keren Hayesod, the United Israel Appeal, and the Jewish National Fund.
