A collection of periodical files from 1981 and the first two months of 1982 presenting a detailed survey of the statements of Israeli and Zionist leaders, including those in government, the Knesset, army, political parties, and the World Zionist Organization, having to do with major issues relating to the question of Palestine and the Arab-Israeli conflict. The statements were culled mainly from Israeli Hebrew periodicals and newspapers. The book is divided into six chapters: (1) Israel and the United States, Soviet Union, and Europe; (2) Israel and the Arab world; (3) Israel and the question of Palestine (territories occupied in 1948, 1967, and the PLO); (4) Peace projects (Jordanian option, Autonomy plan, and the European initiative); (5) Military and strategic affairs; (6) Israel, Zionism, and world Jewry.
