Abstract:
A comprehensive survey of the Palestine problem, Zionism, and the Arab-Israeli conflict from the beginnings of Zionist colonization in the 1880s to the eve of the 1973 (October) War. It consists of thirteen chapters, each written by a specialist, organized into four sections. The first section discusses the history and geography of Palestine; the second, the origins of the question of Palestine, including the Zionist movement; the third, the Israeli domestic scene; and the fourth, the threat posed by Zionism to the Arab world, particularly Lebanon.
