This compilation of data from Hebrew sources describes the organization of the Israeli military, its top cadres and high-ranking officers, and the relations between the leaderships of the Israeli intelligence organizations, as reconstituted after the Arab-Israeli war of 1973.

About the Author(s)

A graduate of the American University of Beirut, Riad Al-ASHQAR was research fellow in Military Affairs at the IPS, and author of several publications on the Israeli military by the Institute. He died in 1982.
