Abstract: 

This study discusses the main demographics that have taken place in the Galilee since the creation of the Jewish state in 1948 and the Israeli policy of “Judaizing” the region. The book also surveys the reactions of the Israeli Arabs to these policies and their efforts to resist them.

Born in 1953 in a village in Nazareth district, Ghazi FALAH, an Israeli Arab, is a graduate of Hebrew University, Jerusalem, and Durham University, UK. He serves as visiting associate professor in geography in the University of Northern Iowa, USA and is the author of several studies on Palestinian geography in Arabic and English.
