On the following pages, I would like to

offer a brief overview of germanophone

sources on Palestine, or the coastal strip

between Saida, the Sinai Peninsula, and the

Jordan River, from the period 1841–1945.

Aside of descriptions of the items, detailed

information on the institutions and persons

that produced them is provided. This will,

hopefully, stimulate more interest in the

germanophone presence in Palestine and

prompt more interdisciplinary research.
