Raji and Shawan provide perspectives from the ground in Gaza and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and discuss ongoing efforts to protect basic human rights. Khalidi addresses the role of U.S. policy towards Israel and Palestine in exacerbating the critical situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territory. The panel will be moderated by Center for Constitutional Rights Board Chair and Columbia Law School Professor Katherine Franke, and introductory remarks will be provided by CCR Executive Director Vince Warren.
