Cléa Thouin, Assistant Editor of the Journal of Palestine Studies, sits down with Helga Tawil-Souri to discuss her new article in JPS' sister journal the Jerusalem Quarterly. Helga Tawil-Souri is assistant professor at New York University's Department of Media, Culture and Communication. She wrote about the dynamic nature of the Qalandia checkpoint and how checkpoints embody the Palestinian experience both inside the territories and across the diaspora.
